With Adobe Audition CS6 you can save time and speed up audio production. You
will be able to accomplish more faster with the intuitive editing, sound design,
processing, mixing, and mastering tools which are optimized with film, video and
radio workflows. Stretch your clips non-destructively with the Real-time clip
stretching feature.
Adobe Audition CS6 also has many powerful effects tools like:

Edit your audio clips with precision. You can now spot clips then adjust pitch and speed then correct audio problems, perform sound design and complete your projects to meet your exact specifications.
There is now a high-performance audio toolset for post-production, broadcast, film, even game development. You can now move your projects with NLEs and DAWs between Adobe Audition and Avid Pro Tools using the built-in OMF import and export functions. You can even share files with Apple Final Cut Pro 7 via XML.
