NI Multisim is an industry-standard, best-in-class SPICE simulation environment. It is the cornerstone of the NI circuits teaching solution to build expertise through practical application in designing, prototyping, and testing electrical circuits. The Multisim design approach helps you save prototype iterations and optimize printed circuit board (PCB) designs earlier in the process.
Benefits for Education
Developed for the educator who needs to teach all aspects of circuits and electronics, Multisim Education Edition provides the ability to seamlessly move students from theory to simulation to the lab. Regardless of the application area, the powerful environment offers the following benefits:
New Features in NI Multisim 13
The latest version of Multisim improves productivity for system design and circuits teaching with the addition of new SPICE models, NI and industry standard hardware connectors, analog and digital co-simulation, and usability enhancements.
Assign homework problems easier by embedding circuit diagram images and files on webpages using Multisim Snippets.
NI myDAQ Connector Integration
Students can design custom circuit systems to plug into the NI myDAQ measurement platform for project work.
Power and Machine Components
Use parameterized DC motors, switches, step signal generators, and nonideal components to teach power electronics curriculum with Multisim.
Added Xilinx Tool Support
Teach digital concepts with additional support of the latest Xilinx FPGA tools (12.x and 13.x) in the Multisim environment.
Analog and Digital Co-Simulation With Multisim and NI LabVIEW
Teach controls, mechatronics, and power systems with point-by-point, closed-loop simulation between Multisim and LabVIEW.

Multisim: Professionally Recognized and Student Friendly
by Kat .S on April 09, 2015
I am new to electronics and electrical work. I'm a visual learner, was struggling to understand the behavior of different components within different circuits from reading a textbook alone. A fellow student suggested I use Multisim as a tool outside of the lab setting to create and solve circuits on my own. Multisim is a well designed, intuitive program. It is super user friendly, easy for beginners and has an extensive tutorial database.

My son needed this program for his electronics data class. He is in the highschool STEM academy. It has come in very handy because he can complete his assignments on time. He also is very interested in working with the program on his own time! He finds it very fun to use.

I used this program when I was an engineering student at New Mexico State University. This is an easy to use electronic schematic program that is capable of making professional drawings. I worked for Physical Science Lab at NMSU and am presently retired with 27 years of service thru PSL at NMSU. I remained as a faculty staff member and recently purchased my copy at Studica. I am so impressed with my purchase that I strongly feel I will upgrade to this program up to the professional level sometime in the near future. If you like to do a lot of design work in electronics this is really worth purchasing it. Student or faculty identity is required so get your permanent copy before you graduate in the field of electronics whether its technology or Engineering. I don't represent this company but I am giving you heads up that this program is as good as spice, easier to use, and that Studica offers a great deal on it.
