Autodesk/Discreet Student/Faculty/Staff Purchase Agreement

Section 1: Qualifications
I certify that I am a degree-seeking student or a faculty member (as checked below) at the Institution stated, and that I am purchasing the Autodesk/Discreet Software for my own personal use for education purposes only and not for commercial use.

	Degree-seeking student: I am a registered student who can confirm current enrolment in three (3) credit hours in a degree-granting program OR who can confirm current enrolment in a nine (9) month certificate-granting program. I have attached a copy of both my current student ID-AND-a copy of my current registration card confirming enrolment in at least six (6) credit hours OR a registration card or letter from the registrar’s office confirming enrolment in a nine (9) month certificate-granting program
	Faculty (Full-time or Part-time): I have attached a copy of my current faculty ID.
	K-12 Student: I am a registered K-12 student who can confirm current enrolment. I have attached a letter from my Institution confirming my current registration and enrolment.

Section 2: The Autodesk/Discreet Software License Agreement
I agree that if I open the sealed software media pack, I will be bound by the terms and conditions of the Autodesk/Discreet Software License Agreement included on-line or in the product box. In particular, I understand that I cannot sell, transfer, modify, or copy the Autodesk/Discreet Software. I agree that the software license I have purchased is for education use only. Commercial use of this product will immediately terminate my right to use the software. Though functionally identical to software used by professionals, the Education version of Autodesk/Discreet software may contain the following features that differentiate it from the commercial version: education-specific hardware or software lock, on-screen and printing features that identify the software as an "educational version," and a two-year term license.

Section 3: Product Upgrades
Future student releases of this software will be available at the then-current academic upgrade price to students meeting the then-current Autodesk/Discreet student eligibility requirements. Upgrade information is available through an Autodesk Education Reseller at www.autodesk.com/reseller. AutoCADlt software is not upgradable.

Section 4: Education-to-Commercial Transfers.
This education software license may be exchanged for a commercial license at the then-current education-to-commercial transfer price. Original proof of purchase is required. For additional information, locate the Autodesk Education Reseller nearest you at www.autodesk.com/reseller.

Section 5: Technical Support.
Technical support is not available directly from Autodesk or Discreet. Basic installation support for Autodesk/Discreet products is available from your reseller of purchase. Additional on-line support resources are available at www.autodesk.com/support. Fee based support (non-installation) for Autodesk products is available through the Autodesk Safety Net Support program at 1-800-225-6531.

Section 6: Parental Consent (to be signed by the parent or legal guardian-for K-12 students only)
By opening the sealed software media pack, my dependent agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Autodesk/Discreet Software License Agreement. In particular, I understand that under this Education Software License, my dependent may not sell, transfer, modify, or copy the Autodesk/Discreet Software. My dependent has purchased this software for education use only. Commercial use of this Autodesk/Discreet Software license will immediately terminate my dependent’s right to use the software.
