About National Robotics Week
On March 9, 2010, the United States House of Representatives officially designated the second full week of April as “National Robotics Week”. This was in response to a series of appeals made to the Congressional Caucus by leaders and decision makers, in both the academic and corporate fields. These appeals aimed to help develop ways to promote the importance of this technology to our lives and national security, and to create a roadmap for robotics technology in the U.S.
