Studica and fischertechnik are dedicated to education, and excited to take part in introducing students to the world of robotics. We offer a variety of tools and resources to help ensure success in robotics and other STEM related fields. Here at Studica, April springs to life as we pay homage to this amazing technology, by celebrating National Robotics Week and offering special discounts* on  learning tools.

About National Robotics Week

Robotics-WeekOn March 9, 2010, the United States House of Representatives officially designated the second full week of April as “National Robotics Week”. This was in response to a series of appeals made to the Congressional Caucus by leaders and decision makers, in both the academic and corporate fields.  These appeals aimed to help develop ways to promote the importance of this technology to our lives and national security, and to create a roadmap for robotics technology in the U.S.

As a result, the purpose of National Robotics Week is to [1]:

  • Celebrate the United States as a leader in robotics technology development
  • Educate the public about how this technology impacts their communities
  • Advocate for increased funding for robotics technology research and development
  • Inspire students of all ages to pursue careers in robotics and other Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM)-related fields

Explore robotics technology as a pillar of the 21st century by emphasizing its ability to inspire technology education. Robotics is our present and our future, opening up a broad array of next-generation products and applications in many industries. Join us in our robotics celebration, and help your students engage with connected activities that will keep their attention, while offering them relevant technical skills for the future.
