• Open the Autodesk 2010 Application. This must be a network installed product; this does not work for standalone installs.
• Click the down arrow next to the question mark symbol in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
• This will give you a selection menu as shown; select ’About’
  
• In the resulting window, select the Product Information button.

• In the Product Information Window select the Borrow License button.

• Maximum borrow period in Education licensing is six months.
• Be sure to save the license information to the machine you are borrowing to.
• You must return the license following the same procedure if you want the license returned to the license pool before the borrow period expires. At the end of the borrow period, the license is automatically returned.
