fischertechnik Robotics Competition Lab is now an approved platform in the Skills British Columbia 2013 Competition. The New fischertechnik Robotics Competition Lab is now being used in another Provincial Skills competition.  This complete kit offers Teachers the ability to deliver hands on STEM education to their students in the Classroom or in a Club.

Skills British Columbia has featured the GEARBOTS Engineering Challenge for several years now in the Junior Skills Competitions.  This Competition has focused on building and programming fully autonomofischertechnik Robotics Competition Labus robots in order to complete themed missions.  In the past only one robotics platform has been approved for this competition.

The fischertechnik Robotics Competition Lab delivers every necessary feature required to complete this scope.  This comprehensive platform offers more than simple assembly and manipulation, and instead allows students to embrace a project from the design and prototyping stage all the way through to a completed robot.  One of the successes that this kit has had lies with the ROBO TX microcontroller.  The fischertechnik ROBO TX Controller can be programmed with a multitude of languages rather than just one.  This has been very successful in the Ontario Skills Virtual Robotics Competition to date, and offers a more thorough knowledge of programming to students.

I am sure that the students using the fischertechnik platform will have fun and be successful.  If you would like more information on this kit or the introduction of Robotics into your Classroom or Club please feel free to contact us at Studica.
