The goal of the Southern Regional Education Board’s (SREB’s) Advanced Career STEM and project-based curricula is to align the workforce needs of different states and to help them prepare their students to build the 21st-century skills their economies and local employers seek. Advanced Career students graduate fully prepared for the workplace and postsecondary studies. AC firmly believes that students shouldn’t have to choose between a college or a career pathway. Advanced Career courses provide students a greater depth of skills and knowledge that provides them with more options upon graduation.
