Hello once again. In my last blog posting I had just provided you with an overview of the control center of the fischertechnik robotic models, the ROBO Pro software and the ROBO TX Controller interface. Today we will continue by looking at actuators and sensors, the components that allow robots to get feedback on the environment around them, and to react to it. As I was a bit text heavy in my last posting, and also since I think this concept can be better addressed with some visual aids, I am going to share the following two videos which will give you a nice, concise and informative introduction to actuators and sensors as used in the fischertechnik system:

fischertechnik Sensors and Actuators Tutorial, Part One:

fischertechnik Sensors and Actuators Tutorial , Part Two

I hope this helps to shed some light on the programming and controlling of fischertechnik robotic models. As always, if you have any questions or comments about anything fischertechnik related, whether it be robotics or any of the other STEM related fields which ft helps to address, feel free to drop me an email at [email protected]. I look forward to hearing from you!
