Boris Continuum Light Rays
The Boris FX Continuum Light Rays is used to simulate light effects in an image using a wide range of Rays Light effects such as Cartoon, Puffy Light, Radiant Edges, Radiant Spotlight, Ring, Ripply, Streaky, Textured, and Wedge filters and supports NLE software like Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, and Apple Final Cut Express.
The Rays Cartoon filter replaces user-defined cartoon edges of an image with light. By spreading light from the source point a puffy effect can be created using the Rays Puffy filter, while the edges of an image can be illuminated using the Rays Radiant Edges filter.
Using the Radiant Spotlight filter, which is a combination of the Light Ray and Spotlight filters, you can use a spotlight to matte the light source of the rendered light. The Rays Ripply filter combines the light ray effect with a rippled light effect, which spreads light from a source point in all directions using a selected channel in the source image. Light sources can be masked with a ring using the Rays Ring filter.
With the Textured filter, a ray of light can be given a textured effect using a noise map pattern. Streaks can be generated from a ray of light using the Streaky filter, while a wedge-shaped light can be created from a source on the image using the Rays Wedge filter.
