Drug-Affected Demonstrator -
This electronic demonstrator dramatically shows the devastating effects of
substance use by a pregnant woman. A lifelike, anatomically correct female, it
bears a painful facial expression, tiny limbs and is small for its gestational
age.
FAS - Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Manikin -
This Manikin was designed with the help of a nurse/consultant who
specializes in FAS education. The extremely detailed, lifelike sculpture is
based on photos of real FAS infants. It represents a
small-for-gestational-age, full-term infant with limb and facial
deformities, typical of severe cases of FAS. The FAS Manikin is an excellent
tool for classroom demonstration.
