PLANT MITOSIS -

A set of 8 models consisting of blocks of crystal clear plastic wherein the division of the chromosomes and the mitotic apparatus is graphically illustrated. These "see through" models have the organelles and cell inclusions molded in colored. plastics and embedded in the blocks. Detailed are the nucleus, nucleolus, chromosomes (in different colors), cell plate and spindle fibers. The 8 phases shown in the STACO PLANT MITOSIS are; 1. Interphase, 2. Early Prophase, 3. Late Prophase, 4. Mesophase, 5. Metaphase, 6. Anaphase, 7. Early Telophase and 8. Late Telophase. Models are 3-1/2" high x 2-3/4"deep x 2-1/2" wide.
