Welcome to StairMAX, the advanced stair builder plug-in for 3ds max and VIZ. StairMAX lets you create parametric stairs and escalators from within 3ds max or VIZ. Every single stair parameter can be animated, because StairMAX uses a 100% parametric approach to create 3D stairs in 3ds max or VIZ. With just a few mouseclicks you can built hundreds of different stairs. The ease of use is really remarkable. Even user defined and customized stair elements stay fully parametric and adjustable!

Feature List

All StairMAX objects are implemented as 100% parametric objects, and they can be accessed via the standard creation methods. StairMAX offers 5 new parametric stair objects.

The supported 3D stair types are as follows:

• Straight Stair
• Spiral Stair
• L-Type Stair
• U Type Stair
• Escalator

Nearly every aspect of StairMAX is animateable!
It doesn't matter if you want to animate the height, the amount of steps, stepwidth or whatever comes to your mind - everything is possible! All stair types do also support the following common geometric definitions:

• Height
• Length
• Width
• Step Height
• Step Count
• Handrails Left/Right
• Side-Pieces
• Supporting Beams
