Turbidity is a measure of the cloudiness of water - the cloudier the water, the
greater the turbidity. Turbidity in water is caused by suspended matter. This
matter will deflect (or scatter) light as it passes through the sample.
Turbidity is a measurement of the scattered light as compared to the amount of
