Autodesk Announces Studica as California's New Dealer for Education
Sanborn, NY (May 14, 2009) – Autodesk, Inc., a world leader in 2D and 3D design and engineering software based in San Rafael, CA, has named Studica, Inc. as an authorized Autodesk value-added reseller of Autodesk’s Education solutions for the State of California. This authorization is in effect immediately and all accredited schools in the state of California may now purchase their Autodesk licensing and renewals for their classrooms through Studica, Inc.
Studica has attained the Autodesk rights in a deal with Klein Educational Systems of Davis,
California and with the approval of Autodesk, Inc. Klein has served Autodesk Education
customers in the state of California for 17 years and will work with Studica over the next year to
help customers transition to Studica. Autodesk Education solutions include Autodesk Design
Academy 2010 and Autodesk Animation Academy for secondary schools, and a series of product
suites for post-secondary schools.
