Netop Process Control is a new generation of the existing Netop Desktop Firewall.

Netop Process Control is an IT-security product which allows the company to enforce their own IT-policies via 100% dynamics roles. The company can easily define which type of processes that they would like to run at their IT-systems, so the need for control is exchanged with the opportunity for pro-active policy enforcement. All un-authorized processes cannot proceed including malware like virus, etc.

Increased numbers of mobile workers also create a threat for transferring un-authorized processes to the internal IT-network, but the NPC ensures that no processes can proceed unless the company’s IT administration allows it.

NPC works with a “white list” installed at the individual desktop, so the individual desktop can have its own rights or group rights. The “white list” can be administrated remotely, so that the whole network can be maintained in an efficient way.

NPC will replace Netop Desktop Firewall which will be terminated immediately. NPC also integrates better with other Netop products. NPC is the first product in a group of three products which will be the cornerstones in our enForce suite (presented previous this year).
