Who can order from Studica?
Studica may require proof of your academic status, for some items before the order is shipped.
Special pricing is available to students, faculty, and staff meeting the minimum academic status requirements listed below.
Parents, relatives, guardians, and friends can purchase for students as long as education verification is provided by the student.
Many educational products are upgradeable to commercial versions. This will be stated on the company license agreement. For students, some software purchases are limited to only one copy. Some companies require their own specific signed License Agreement. These forms are found below. Acceptable forms of academic IDs are as follows,
- Currently dated photo student ID Card
- Currently dated photo Faculty ID Card
- Currently dated class schedule with name
- Currently dated letter from your school on your school letterhead

Send your proof of academic status either by,
- Preferred Method: Scan or take a digital photo of your verification and upload it @ http://www.studica.com/user/upload_verification.cfm
- Second option: Scan or take a digital photo of your verification and email it to sales_us@studica.com with the subject as "Re: Order: 123456" *Replace 123456 with your order number
- Third option: fax your verification to: (877) 754-2807, In the cover letter reference your order number

Non-Academic
- Many products on Studica do not require proof of academic status and can be purchased by anyone. If a product requires academic proof, you will be notified by email
College/University students:
- Matriculating college, university and career school students
High School students:
- Registered high school students who can confirm current enrollment can order any product with the exception of Microsoft
Faculty/Staff:
- Full and part time faculty and staff

Ableton
Educational versions of Ableton products are for full-time students,
teachers and educational institutions only. In order for this software to be
completely unlocked and functional, Ableton requires students and teachers to
submit proof of their educational status to Ableton upon installation of
product. If you are unsure whether you qualify for an educational discount please contact us via our toll free number at
the top of the page for advice before you purchase.
Autodesk
Autodesk require a signed license agreement along with your proof of academic status.
Newtek
Newtek requires a signed license agreement along with your proof of academic status.
Microsoft

SolidWorks Student Edition Purchase Eligibility
The SolidWorks Student Edition is available to degree-seeking students or full-time faculty members whose intended use is for personal learning or academic purposes. A "degree-seeking" student is defined as a student who can confirm enrollment in a minimum of three credit hours at an accredited academic institution, and is accepted into a degree-granting program OR can confirm current full-time enrollment in a minimum nine-month certificate-granting program.
Please note: Software ceases to function 24 months after registration.

Please note Student and faculty purchases can purchase under the following conditions:
- Students are defined as registered students who can confirm current enrollment in six (6) credit hours in a minimum of a two-year, degree-granting program; or can confirm current enrollment in a nine (9) month certificate granting vocational or career program; or can confirm current enrollment in grades 9-12 of a public or private K-12 educational institution.
- Students in grades K-8 of a public or private K-12 educational institution do NOT qualify to purchase Avid products at student pricing.
- Faculty is defined as full or part time faculty currently employed by an accredited education institution.
Quark Student Purchase Eligibility 
Who qualifies for special educational pricing
- Accredited public or private primary or secondary school providing full-time instruction for grades K-12 or a school district for such schools.
- Accredited public or private university or college (including community, junior or vocational college) that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time study.
- Administrative offices or boards of education of educational institutions.
- Quark authorized training providers as approved by Quark, Inc.
- Home schools approved by Quark at our sole discretion.
- Government schools located in United States territories.
- Named educational entities approved by Quark in writing or listed by Quark on its Web site.
- Hospitals that are wholly owned and operated by an educational institution. Wholly owned and operated means the educational institution is the sole owner of the hospital and is the only entity exercising control over day-to-day operations.
- Higher education research laboratories that are a public institution and recognized by the department of education, teach students as part of their research mission, and can provide a copy of bylaws that state the relationship with the controlling university.
- Educational consortia and systems: Corporations and associations validly organized and existing under the laws of a state or territory of the United States, each member or shareholder is an accredited school.
- Students attending an accredited public or private private, primary or secondary school with valid student ID and a class schedule showing current enrollment.
- Students attending an accredited public or private university or college (including community, junior, or vocational college) that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time study with a valid student ID and a class schedule showing current enrollment.

WACOM 
Acceptable forms of Proof:
ALL WACOM education orders must be accompanied by proof if they are faxed through. Suitable proof with faxed orders includes:
- Photocopy of a valid student ID
- Letter from an education institution (on official letterhead) stating that the person is a current student, teacher or lecturer
- a copy of the education institution's PO
VECTORWORKS
Acceptable forms of Proof:
ALL Vectorworks education/student orders must be accompanied by proof. Suitable proof with faxed orders includes:
- Photocopy of a valid student ID
- Letter from an education institution (on official letterhead) stating that the person is a current student, teacher or lecturer
- a copy of the education institution's PO
- Charities must supply their registered Charity Number.
