Steinberg Skills Competition

Welcome to the Steinberg Skills Competition Website
This website is an online center for students to compete for prizes, as well as
showcase their work amongst peers, other schools and possible employers! High
School, Undergraduate, and Graduate students select and enter a competition
where they will use the designated software. Entrants must be students or student groups (not greater than 5) and will be required to send in proof. Winning projects may be showcased on this site and may be used in advertisements on websites, posters, radio or TV commercials. Select a competition, fill out an entry form and get started immediately.
Teachers are encouraged to make participation in the Studica.com Skills competitions an in-class activity to enhance the learning experience of their students and provide them with an outside the school opportunity to showcase their talents.

Desktop Music Competition IV
The purpose of this competition is to evaluate the
student's ability, skill, and knowledge of desktop music. Students may use any
desktop music software available, however Studica suggests the following
software:

- Create the music for a chase scene as seen in a movie.

Original Music Competition IV
The purpose of this competition is to evaluate
the student's ability, skill, and knowledge of original recorded music.
Students may use any instruments and music software to record/mix, however
Studica suggests the following:
Competition Theme -
The Next Big Thing!
- Home record an original song in any genre of music of your choice with an
unlimited amount of instruments used. Music Genres: Rock, R&B, Alternative,
Country, Rap, Metal, Folk, Dance, Trance, Gospel, New Age, Hip Hop,
Electronica, Trip-Hop, etc…
