Ask Video - Pro Tools 9 Tutorial

In Level 1 of this 3 part series we're going to take you through everything you need to know to get started. We're going to start right at the beginning by getting your audio card setup and taking a tour of the Edit and Mix windows. After that we'll move into recording and editing, and finish up with a few chapters on some of the instruments in Pro Tools

If you're new to Pro Tools than this tutorial is perfect. Its also great for those of you coming back to the program now that you can use any interface you like. Watching Level 1 is a great way to refresh yourself!

In Level 2 of this 3 part series we're going to build on the principles and techniques we learned in Level 1 and start looking at some of Pro Tools' advanced features. We're going to introduce you to the advanced recording techniques, delve deeper into audio editing and mixing, and finish up by taking a look at Structure and Vacuum.

This tutorial is great for Pro Tools users that feel like they've got the basics down and are ready to learn something new!

In Level 3 of this 3 part series we're going to look at Pro Tools' most advanced features. We're going to delve to such topics as MIDI Operations, Elastic Audio and Pitch, Delay Compensation, Side Chaining and Digibase. We're also going to take a look at some of the most popular effects and instruments like the AIR Talkbox, DB-33, and Xpand.

This tutorial is great for Pro Tools users that already have an extensive knowledge of Pro Tools or who have already seen Levels 1 and 2.
