Makeblock mBot V1.1 is the latest all-in-one solution for teaching young students about programming, electronics and robotics. The improved mBot V1.1 kit provides new ways for children to learn about science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). It is compatible with Scratch 2.0 programming and controlled with Bluetooth or a 2.4GHz wireless module. The new mBot design comes with a casing specially designed for protecting main control board. The casing is also atomized to safeguard children's eyes from the glare of the onboard LED. Additional new features also include auxiliary wheels, improved button configuration, and a lithium battery holder. Let your young learners can experiment with different programming activities, like playing soccer, line-following, obstacle courses and more!

    My kids are really enjoying learning how to program their mBots. The BlueTooth version is perfect because all they need is their phone or tablet and are not tied to their PC. The mBot was easy to assemble and seems well built so far. They are really excited about how many add ones and customizations there are available as they progress in their learning.

  2. Bluetooth Mbot V1.1 - a Nana's perspective

    We ordered kits for our 9 and 11 year old grandsons and, because we are complete novices at robotics and coding, kits for us as well. So far, so good! It is easy to assemble and to get started. From my perspective, I would have appreciated more written instructions on how to code but once I tried doing it, it is easy to figure out. The kids had no problem diving into the coding and learning by doing. Special kudos to Studica for going above and beyond to ensure the kits arrived for Christmas.
