Our Studica Canada office has been very busy these last two months with the trade show and VEX seasons upon us all. Lots of great educational information has been unveiled and shared.

Our Global Manager, Derek,  began the busy period by delivering the Child Studies 9 Implementation Workshops in Nova Scotia.  He discussed the care and management of the Real Care Baby II Plus and its implementation into classes in the schools of Nova Scotia.  Derek has also taught introductions to Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD 2012, and Inventor 2012 to three post-secondary institutions on Ontario.

In October Studica Reps attended the BCSCTA Catalyst 2011 Conference (BC Science Teachers’ Association, the ATA Science Council Conference (Alberta Teachers Associaton), STAO2011 (The Science Teachers’s Association of Ontario),  THESA Conference (Teachers of Home Economics Specialist Association), and OFSHEEA (Ontario Family Studies Home Economic Educators’ Association).  Our Realityworks Sales Consultant, Christina, unveiled the first annual Dress Up Your Real Care Baby Contest at THESA and continued it at OFSHEEA.

STAO2011 was exciting with the Official Launch of Fourier Education Data Logging Products on Ontario.  The Nova5000 data logger was a hit product with many teachers getting hands on with a simple and affordable scientific solution.

Eastern Canada Studica Representative, Michael, has been busy developing a solution for Bombardier Aerospace to teach their employees about their manufacturing processes.  Bombardier is going to use Fischertechnik to create a mechanical project to highlight different aspects of their manufacturing process.  There will be much more to follow on this exciting topic.

Studica has had a busy Fall, and we look forward to offering solutions for Science and Tech.  Please let us know how we can help you.
