Autodesk is now shipping media for its 2013 Suite products on an USB memory stick. All of the products in the suite can be easily installed or deployed with this innovation.

The installer for this year is simple and direct. As in previous years, you must silence any virus checking software while running the Autodesk Installer. Here is our quick and easy guide to using the installer for your Autodesk 2013 Suites.

From the opening screen you can choose a local install (standalone or network), Create a Deployment or Install Tools & Utilities.

At the very bottom of the window are links to on-line help, System Requirements and the Readme files.

I suggest you start your install with checking the System Requirements. They change every year and the graphics card requirements are very specific  for effective product operation. To speed your installation you can simply copy the contents of the thumb drive to the local machine and run the installer from there.
