As you may know, Lumion is a powerful 3d architectural visualization software used to create stunning visualizations that win business. You don’t need complex CAD software, or to spend days creating them. Lumion works in real-time and can render videos and walk-throughs in minutes. There has always been a great synergy using Lumion with Revit®. Now, with LiveSync available as part of the Lumion 7.3 update, you can make changes in Revit and immediately see them appear live in Lumion.
What is LiveSync for Revit?
Imagine a plug-in for Revit that allows you to create a live connection with Lumion – this exactly what LiveSync is. When you are in the early stages of the design process, this can save you time and help you get the job done faster. You may be making frequent changes in Revit, but now you can preview them in real-time in Lumion.
Essentially, you can experience a high-quality, real-time 3D view of your Revit design with this handy plug-in. In addition to viewing your model in real-time, you can also export a Collada (.DAE) file from Revit and seamlessly load/reload it into Lumion. There are other benefits such as the ability to automatically apply glass materials and export bump mapping.
