What is Office 365?

Office365By definition Microsoft Office 365 is a cloud productivity suite designed for consumers, students, and faculty at affordable pricing. It takes pieces of the traditional Office applications (think Word, PowerPoint, Excel…) and adds in an element of cloud and web services for an annual fee.

What Does Microsoft 365 Do?

You can work from Office applications on your computer, your phone and the web. You can use Office 365 on up to five Macs, PCs or select devices.  Use your web browser to create a Word document or edit a PowerPoint in real time. You keep the formatting whether you an on your desktop or working on the web. It includes the newest versions of popular Microsoft offerings: Access, Publisher, OneNote, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word – plus there are automatic updates to all the programs so you’ll always be using the latest and greatest version. Other benefits include easy sharing and access with 20GB of storage on SkyDrive and 60 minutes of Skype calls.

How Does Microsoft Office 365 Work?

Compatability

Office 365 works with Office 2007, Office for Mac 2008, Office 2010 and Office for Mac 2011.
