The Skills Show

The Skills Show is the United Kingdom’s largest career and skills event. This is an incredible conference designed to help students, educators and academic professionals learn how they can help shape the future of a new generation. This three day event is free for attendees, and is expected to bring in over 75,000 visitors, including students, parents, teachers and influencers. Attendees will get information on a wide variety of career opportunities and advancements in various industries. Young people will be able to explore different careers by speaking with employers and field experts to get advice and firsthand accounts of professional experiences. The Skills Show also provides educators and other visitors an opportunity to learn more about exciting education and technology offerings that help prepare students for exciting futures in high demand professions.

Robotics and STEM Solutions at Stand H19-44

This Studica stand will be full of exciting robotics and STEM solutions. There are five major themes that will be on display at our stand:

TETRIX® PRIME & Robotics STEM Units
We will be introducing the new TETRIX® PRIME Robotics Building System. This system features a quick-rivet fastening system for simple and intuitive prototyping and building. The Prime Robotics building system partnered with Pitsco’s latest Robotics STEM Units will allow educators to use the excitement and engagement of robotics to establish real learning outcomes. Robotics STEM Units provide educators with teacher-led, team-based curriculum that delivers interconnected science, technology, engineering, and math lessons spanning three or nine weeks.

TETRIX® MAX Robotics
Tetrix Max robotics will also be on display. Perfect for students interested in engineering and robotics, Tetrix provides the ideal platform for creativity. This complete design system features heavy-duty, aluminum elements for construction, powerful drive motors and expandable capabilities. Whether students want to build a basic square chassis robot base with a remote control or incorporate other electronics to design a highly specific autonomous robot, this system is unlimited.

Robots in Motion
Get moving! Yes, with most sets you can build robotics, but with Tetrix you can also make them move. The Tetrix Radio Remote Control setup allows you to get robots moving right out of the box. You can also control them with a variety of other devices, including: LEGO MINDSTORMS® EV3 or NXT, myRio, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and more.

WorldSkills Mobile Robotics
Explore components and solutions from the WorldSkills Mobile Robotics Competition. Studica is proud to be the official supplier to WorldSkills Mobile Robotics.

Interact with Robotics
