Exploring the Fourier NovaScope

Fourier Education has produced a wide range of Data Logging tools, Sensors, and Experiments that test, drive, and influence the learning of our students in many positive ways. With the wide range of use of the Fourier Data Loggers, it is not surprising that Fourier would be able to produce a tool as useful and as easy to use as the Fourier NovaScope.

Ontario Autodesk Digital Steam Workshop – McMaster University

Autodesk’s Digital STEAM Workshop was a success, and showed the participants the scope and potential of this free Autodesk Curriculum. Autodesk’s Digital STEAM Curriculum is a project based teaching tool which allows teachers to focus on the instruction of key concepts. Key concepts covered in today’s workshop included design for Urban Farming, Urban Planning and Transit infrastructure, and Thermal cooling properties involved in the design of structures.

Teaching Technical Success: Spotlight on Henry Street High School

Henry Street High School was very successful this year at the Durham Skills Event, with a fifth consecutive Gold Medal in the Automotive Diagnostic Skills competition, a Gold Medal in the Mechanical CAD competition using Autodesk Inventor software, a Silver Medal in Hairdressing, and a Bronze Medal in Cabinet Making.
