Members of Studica’s Canadian office are currently attending the Ontario Technological Skills Competition in Waterloo, Ontario. This the largest skilled trades competition in Canada with approximately 1900 students competing.

Mississauga VEX Robotics Championship

This year there was a VEX Robotics competition right around the corner from the Ontario office of Studica Limited. Rick Hansen Secondary School hosted the Mississauga VEX Robotics Championship on 25 February and with the help of teacher John Hobbins and his excellent group of volunteers the event was an outstanding success.

Students working with, for example, the da Vinci Machines set might be asked how an improvement could be made to his original design of the file cutting machine which might improve the safety of use, or students using the Oeco Tech and Hydro Cell kits
