Students working with, for example, the da Vinci Machines set might be asked how an improvement could be made to his original design of the file cutting machine which might improve the safety of use, or students using the Oeco Tech and Hydro Cell kits

Grants for STEM Technology Grades 6-12

Toshiba grants are meant to help teachers with project ideas and materials to coincide with the math and science curriculum, bringing more hands on training for the students making the projects more fun than constructive. These projects are a brilliant way to gain the interest of the student making them want to learn. Grant applications of $5,000 or less for instructional equipment are accepted throughout the year.
