Mississauga VEX Robotics Championship

This year there was a VEX Robotics competition right around the corner from the Ontario office of Studica Limited. Rick Hansen Secondary School hosted the Mississauga VEX Robotics Championship on 25 February and with the help of teacher John Hobbins and his excellent group of volunteers the event was an outstanding success.

Teaching Technical Success – Spotlight on Jean Varnier Catholic High School

Students at Jean Vanier in the York Catholic District School Board, however, understand robotics and define it as success and forward movement. Teacher Andy Persad has taken a fledgling robotics program with Vex robotics and has already equipped his students with the skills that will make them the next robotics experts for NASA and ABB.
