Happy New Year from the Studica Canada Team. I just wanted to take this opportunity to highlight a few of the exciting events that are approaching this winter and in the spring.
VEX Competitions are continuing and gaining momentum at this time of year. Closest to home, we have the Studica sponsored VEX Competition at Rick Hansen Secondary School in Mississauga. More spots are opening up, so be quick and we will see your team there!
Technological Skills Competitions are beginning very soon in preparation for the Ontario Technological Skills Competition in Waterloo Ontario on April 30th to May 2nd. Halton District School Board is hosting thier skills comp in Georgetown on April 3rd, with other boards beginning in the same time frame. Durham DSB is completing Mechanical CAD on the 21st of February.
Studica will be at Skills again this year with our Virtual Robotics competition. Students can learn valuable programming and design skills in a fun and virtual environment. Let us know if you would like more information.

Fourier Days will begin again soon at Studica. This is a chance to conduct in house Science experiments and labs using the Fourier line of Data Loggers. Teachers and Students alike can take advantage of this unique opportunity. Plan a special experiment day in your Science lab or in your School’s neighborhood and Studica will bring the Data Loggers. Unique environmental experiments can also be conducted using the Fourier Data Loggers, so sign up and let us know how we can help. You bring the ideas and we will bring the equipment. Studica is also an Autodesk Certification Center. Autodesk Certification preparation will begin very soon for senior students preparing for Post-Secondary education or the job market. Teachers can also take advantage of this opportunity to improve their skill sets in the coming breaks in March and the summer. Drop us a line and we will help you with the lessons, studying, and prep materials. Let us know if you have an entire class who would benefit from Certification.
