fischertechnik simulation and trainingAutomation is changing the manufacturing industry. As the use of automation increases so does the skill level required of workers. Companies must invest and train their employees. fischertechnik offers a line of industrial simulation solutions that are a perfect fit. They offer realistic, hands-on training for automated systems and programming the automation systems used in most commercial production systems. Industrial training models provide an engaging way to teach your workforce cutting-edge, modern manufacturing technology.  Ideal for teaching and demonstrating a variety of topics including automated processes, PLC control, programming skills, and IoT.

fischertechnik Simulation Solutions

The industrial simulation models replicate real-world automated systems in both form and function. These high-quality models are assembled by hand and German engineered. They work with all the most popular PLCs including Allen-Bradley and Siemens and allow you to work in the PLC programming language of your choice. Plus, they are cost-effective and an affordable option. The cost is a fraction of that of competing products. The models are compact and designed to fit easily on a tabletop. Perfect for use in the office, a lab, and even trade shows.

Meet the Models

fischertechnik offers a complete line of pre-assembled simulation models that are designed for use with industry-standard PLCs. The models include conveyor belts, automated sorting machines, punching machines, pivoting gripper robots, color sorting lines, and high-bay warehouse storage systems.

Aside from these individual models, there is an integrated Factory Simulation model. This model consists of four individual workstations that work together as a self-contained, material cycle. The workstations are a high-bay storage warehouse, a multi-processing station with an oven, a vacuum gripper robot, and a sorting line with color detection.

Preparing for the World of IoT

Another fused model, the Training Factory Industry 4.0, is designed for exploring industry 4.0 applications. This model allows for the simulation of digitalization activities so they can be tested before they are implemented on a larger scale.

fischertechnik Training Factory Industry 4.0This integrated Training Factory Industry 4.0 model is controlled and monitored from a special cloud-based dashboard. The dashboard has the ability to display three different perspectives—a customer view, a supplier view, and a production view. Environmental data from the factory can be tracked on the dashboard, including temperature, humidity, and air quality. A camera attachment also allows for visual monitoring of the factory on the dashboard. With the help of NFC chips and an RFID reader, data for individual workpieces in the production cycle can also be tracked.
