The Power of Augmented Reality Made Easy
By using the Vuforia Capture app on an assisted reality or mixed reality headset, students can capture first-person, step-by-step video and images of procedures as they perform them. The entire capture process is controlled by voice commands, gestures, and can include location-based steps. Once a procedure has been captured, it is revised and enhanced before publishing using a drag-and-drop, cloud-based application with automatically built templates. When a student is ready to use the captured procedure, they can access them through the universal Vuforia View applications in 3D or 2D.
The content is easily recorded without the need for existing assets and used to create step-by-step instructions highlighting safety precautions and
relevant locations. It is easily fine tuned, published, and managed through a secure SaaS based environment and automatically optimized for viewing on Microsoft Hololens, RealWare HMT-1 and mobile devices.
Where and How You Need It
Vuforia Expert Capture Academic is accessible to students and educators on a wide range of devices. The Vuforia Capture application can be used on HoloLens and RealWear to record the procedures, allowing hands-free recording of the instructions. Finalized procedures can be viewed via Vuforia View on Hololens, RealWear, smartphones, tablets, and desktop or laptop computers. And for help with consistent and complete documentation, procedures recorded on Vuforia Capture can be exported to Microsoft® Word documents.
