The fischertechnik Vacuum Gripper Robot is part of the fischertechnik Education Training and Simulation models. This model can be used to learn about important automated mechanical concepts that are used in various industries, including manufacturing. This model can be conveniently combined with a conveyor belt, punch press and/or an intermittent assembly line.

The 3-axis robot with gripping device offers the following degrees of freedom:

  • Shaft 1: 180° rotation
  • Shaft 2: Forward/back movement 90 mm
  • Shaft 3: Up/down movement 150 mm

This set is available in two different price options: the 9V Version and the industry standard 24V Version.

9V Version
This version of the Vacuum Gripper Robot is pre-programmed and includes the Robotics TXT Controller. A power supply is also required.

24V Version
The Vacuum Gripper Robot, 24V Version is specifically designed to work with your existing PLC unit. It will easily integrate into your system, but requires a programmable controller to function.

The fischertechnik Vacuum Gripper Robot includes:

  • 4 DC motors, including 2 with integrated magnetic encoder (max. pulse frequency 1kHz)
  • 4 Limit switches
  • 2 Pulse sensors for path measurement
  • 8 Digital inputs
  • 8 Outputs, 9V - / 24V - :
    • 4 motors clockwise/counterclockwise rotation
    • 24V version includes relay board for motor polarity reversal

NOTE: 24V version Port
PCB with relays to reverse polarity of motor, multi-pin connector (26 pins, grid 2,54 mm) and additional PCB terminals with push in connection for all I/O.

Please note, the following is required for the model to properly function (sold separately):

  • Required for 536625 (9V): Power Supply. We suggest the fischertechnik Power Set #91087.
  • Required for 536630 (24V): Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (not included)
