Toshiba America Foundation is currently accepting applications from teachers who are interested in enhancing the skills of student bringing in STEM technology. Toshiba grants are meant to help teachers with project ideas and materials to coincide with the math and science curriculum, bringing more hands on training for the students making the projects more fun than constructive. These projects are a brilliant way to gain the interest of the student making them want to learn. Grant applications of $5,000 or less for instructional equipment are accepted throughout the year. Applications for grants of more than $5,000 are due August 1, 2011

If you are a 6-12 grade teacher in math or science and would like to learn more about some of the project ideas that Toshiba has to offer, or if you have an equipment list request for some of your project ideas, please feel free to reach out to the Toshiba America Foundation (212) 596-0620.
