Meet Studica Robotics

Studica Robotics offers a comprehensive range of structure components, including aluminum channels, bearings, gears, and precision shafts. Our design philosophy revolves around seamless compatibility, eliminating the need for a machine shop or special equipment. Our structure components are 3mm thick 6061-T6 aluminum making them durable and strong. They are also deburred, polished, and anodized to ensure strength and safety. Our parts are smooth and without sharp edges. Our motion components include motors, pulleys, and linear slides, and our extensive variety of electronics includes our VMX robotics controller, sensors, 3D depth camera, and batteries. We also provide a selection of robot training and building kits.

FTC Teams’ Feedback on Studica Robotics

We’re thrilled by the positive feedback from FTC teams about our products. Here’s what they’re saying.

  • The aluminum anodized blue channel structure is superior to the rest. The channel is smoothed, and we aren’t cutting our hands like with the others.  The hole pattern matches our existing channel but far better as we can attach parts together in more than just straight or 90 degrees. With the Studica hole pattern we can position pieces at 16 different angles. This saves us from using additional parts saving space and money.
  • Kentucky FTC Teams“With the Studica Robotics structure and hole pattern, the quality is second to none. No burs to cut your hands, and the holes are not sharp so that wires aren’t getting spliced during operation. The hole pattern is very smart allowing us to use our old products but on its own it gives us more possibilities for attaching which has saved us from cutting and drilling and wasting material.”
  • The Studica Linear Servo Actuators are excellent and cost us significantly less than anything else out there.
  • “I love the Studica Robotics slide rails. They are smooth, have a lower profile, which will save a ton of room, and have predrilled and tapped holes which match the channel.”
  • “I was particularly impressed with the clever design of the T-slot extrusions, being essentially a hollow tube with 4 T-Slots, providing exceptional torsional rigidity compared to the offerings from other vendors, while keeping the weight in check.”
  • “The 100mm Slim Mecanum wheels are much better than from other vendors. They are slimmer, stronger, and roller assemblies don’t come apart.”

In Conclusion

April is an exciting time for STEM education events and robotics, with our upcoming teacher webinars and the exciting 2024 FIRST® Championship in Houston. Studica and Studica Robotics are dedicated to empowering educators and engaging students with innovative solutions and streamlined procurement. Let’s continue to inspire students together.
