The theme is “Future Tense: Entering an Age of Empowerment.” The goal is to put a spotlight on the importance of TESOL professionals and the impact they have on helping English learners succeed. It is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge, network, and share ideas on how to empower your students and how to better advocate for them.

What is TESOL?

This acronym refers to Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. TESOL International is an association on a mission to advance professional expertise for English language learning and teaching for speakers of other languages across the globe. The Sunshine State TESOL of Florida is a state affiliate of the international association. They provide educators with resources, professional development, and interaction to provide advocacy and leadership in language policy issues.
