Adobe Skills Competition Website
Welcome to the Adobe Skills Competition Website
This website is an online center for students to compete for prizes, as well as
showcase their work amongst peers, other schools and possible employers! High
School, Undergraduate, and Graduate students select and enter a competition
where they will use the designated software. Entrants must be students or student groups (not greater than 5) and will be required to send in proof. Winning projects may be showcased on this site and may be used in advertisements on websites, posters, radio or TV commercials. Select a competition, fill out an entry form and get started immediately.
Teachers are encouraged to make participation in the Studica.com Skills competitions an in-class activity to enhance the learning experience of their students and provide them with an outside the school opportunity to showcase their talents.

2D Animation Competition IV
The purpose of this competition is to evaluate the
student's ability, skill, and knowledge of 2D Animation. Students may use any 2D
software available, however Studica suggests the following software:
Competition Theme: This is Your PSA on Parody :
Create a 2D animation parody (or spoof) of a Public Service Announcement. There
is no time limit for this competition, but file size cannot exceed 10MB.

Digital Video Competition IV
The purpose of this competition is to evaluate the
student's ability, skill, and knowledge of digital video editing. Students may
use any digital editing software available, however Studica suggests the
following software:
Competition Theme - The Secret Life Of... -
Students can work alone or team up
into groups no larger than five individuals to create their final submission.
Entrants are to create a short feature exposé video.

Essay Writing Competition IV

use any writing program, and Studica suggests the following:
Competition Theme - Extra Credit - Students
are to write a complete essay on the topic of technology and its effect on
business or social life.

Graphics Design Competition IV
The purpose of this competition is to evaluate the
student's ability, skill, and knowledge of graphic designing. In this
competition, students may use any graphic designing software available. Studica
recommends the following software titles:
Competition Theme - You, Incorporated. -
Create a unique logo that represents yourself and incorporate it into a product
or advertisement that accurately describes the product or service represented.

Photography Competition IV
The purpose of this competition is to evaluate the
student's ability, skill, and knowledge of photography. Students may use any
photography altering software available, and Studica suggests the following:
Competition Theme - Before & After -
Incorporating your own original photograph, alter your entry utilizing any
editing tools. Provide the before and after images to best show what was
changed.

Web Design Competition IV
The purpose of this competition is to evaluate the
student's ability, skill, and knowledge of web designing. In this competition,
students may use any web design software available. Studica recommends the
following software titles:
Competition Theme - Something to Blog About
- Students are to create an original blog layout and design utilizing the
software of their choice. The winner's entry will be used for the forthcoming
Studica Skills Blog.
