Maxwell Render Version 3Maxwell Render has always been considered a go-to rendering solution that can be counted on to create simple and fast scene set ups and for creating photorealistic results of the highest quality in a short time. Maxwell Render is adapted for 3d visualizations for industries such as architecture, design, animation, VFX and film. An added benefit is that it plugs into many CAD and 3D platforms so you can use it from your favorite application.  Each license includes the following plug-ins: Maya, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros, Sketch Up, Cinema 4D, Revit, NUKE, SolidWorks, Photoshop and many more. Maxwell Render is designed to save you time by doing what real light would do. With their revolutionary work process you can save time and money from production times and at every turn.

There are many improvements, I thought it would be helpful to summarize in list form:

  • You can now adjust object opacity.
  • Customizable sun in the physical sky system
  • Now includes a collection of textures to be used standalone or to create effects.
  • Watch multi-light changes instantly in your main render view
  • Improvements to Maxwell FIRE designed to save time
  • Render Booleans are no longer limited to camera near & far pains
  • You can now create an unlimited alpha “layers” and add objects to them
  • Five new lenses added to Maxwell Camera: Spherical, Pinhole, Fish Eye, Orthographic & Cylindrical
  • Ability to subdivide low polygon objects into smooth surfaces
  • You can now use exclusive emitters to illuminate individual objects
