This year marks the 10th annual National Robotics Week. Also known as “RoboWeek”, this even runs April 6th-14th with the goal of building public awareness of the importance and strength of the robotics industry in the United States, this event includes hundreds of events in all fifty states. Established by Congress in 2010, this event also showcases the impact that robotics will have on our future. It is an excellent opportunity for getting students interested in STEM education and robotics and inspiring them to pass on that enthusiasm with others. In the spirit of #RoboWeek, fischertechnik Education and Studica bring to you the fischertechnik Robotics Challenge 2019.
A Challenge for National Robotics Week
RoboWeek marks the beginning of the fischertechnik Education “Be the Best” Robotics Challenge.* Designed for schools, this challenge has two levels. The Junior Level is reserved for student groups in grades 3 to 8. Here students groups as tasked with building a unique fischertechnik Mobile Robot. The Senior Level is designed for student groups in grades 9 to 12. The goal for this group is to build a unique fischertechnik automated machine. Exceptional entries for each level will be selected a rewarded with fischertechnik building sets and spare parts valued at $1,000. This challenge is only available in the United States.
