When creating a game students enhance their critical thinking, collaboration, time management, communication, creativity, and time management skills.

Why Choose GameMaker for Education?

GameMaker is an ideal tool for adding game design into your lessons. This 2D game design engine offers your students the ability to create games in one of two ways utilizing visual or code-based programming.

  1. Students can easily create games quickly even if they do not know how to code with GML Visual. GML Visual allows the user to create a game using pre-coded building blocks.
  2. For students who are familiar with programming or learning to program, GML Code gives them full control of their creation by allowing them to write their own game code.
