Studica Limited had great success at the OFSHEEA Conference over the weekend at Maple High School. Family studies and Home Economics teachers from all over the Ontario, Canada came to participate in workshops and collect information from the various vendor displays.

Family Studies with RealCare Baby IIStudica was there along with representatives from Brother Canada, showcasing their latest products.  There were several different models of Brother sewing machines on display and throughout the show many stopped by our booth to take in the impressive demonstrations on the large industrial style Brother 6 needle embroidery machinePR650eC.  The big hit for Studica Ltd. was the introduction of the Brother ScanNCut cutting machine – CM550DX. The ability to scan an image without a PC along with the speed and accuracy of the cut was fabulous. Be it on paper, vinyl or pleather this machine was fantastic. Some even tried hand drawing and sketching outlines free hand using the on screen display. See it. Scan it. Cut it. Create it. Limited only by your imagination, the demonstrations generated a great deal of interest in this scanning machine and the inquiries are still coming in.

Always worth a mention, Realityworks and the RealCare Baby 3 was also a big attraction at show.  All were in awe of the new features in this latest baby model which piqued the interest of teachers looking to upgrade their current infant simulator or add to their little “families”. Family Studies teachers were also keen on the Shaken Baby Simulator which was demonstrated throughout the day.

The OFSHEEA conference was lots of fun and Studica Ltd. was proud to take part.
