Everyone wants an easy and quick answer to the question “What’s New with Autodesk Inventor 2012?” What has changed? What has been enhanced? However, the best answers can be found from within the application itself.
When you launch Inventor 2012 for the first time, you’ll see a Welcome Screen offering detailed information about the new features, learning videos, online Help and services & support. Take a moment to review all these items on this screen. I recommend watching the “Essentials Video” titled User Interface. The narrator will take you on a quick tour to get you acclimated with the look and feel of the new Inventor 2012. Other interesting videos demonstrate workflows and concepts..

After the “Welcome Screen” has been closed, you’ll still have a chance to familiarize yourself by accessing one of the many tools below on the “Getting Started” Tab of the ribbon.

Also, click the arrow next to the “?” in the top right corner to see the list of “Learning Tools and “What’s New”.
At anytime, you can press F1 to access Help. If you’re connected to the internet, then you’ll be taken to Wiki Help for Inventor 2012. It provides the most relevant and current information available.

Whether you’re a novice or seasoned veteran, all of the options offered will make you an Inventor PRO in no time. Happy designing.
