I was able to use hardware from the Fischertechnik Oeco Tech Renewable Energies Kit to construct the Solar Array, complete with DC Motor. The solar tracker is a part of this kit, and comes with graphical instructions for assembly and wiring. With this, I was able to add two Light Sensors and design a simple system for control using LabVIEW.

Autodesk created something called Project Neon a little while back. Project Neon is a cloud-based rendering service Autodesk is testing out. Basically, Neon is a plugin that you install into AutoCAD or Revit 2012 and you can use it within the program to send a drawing or a view up to Autodesk servers and have it rendered

The Macworld 2011 Awards were announced in London last Thursday.
The winner of the “Macworld Grand Prix” which is give to the most ground breaking product of the year was the new QuarkXPress 9. This product also took home and award for Best Creative Design Software of the year.
