The Pantone Color Institute carefully analyzes data, seeks out new color trends from all over the world, and deliberates to select the perfect color to receive this honor. This year they have selected a color that is simple and very elegant. It is a color that brings a sense of reassurance, calm, and confidence. The 2020 Color of the Year is Classic Blue (PANTONE 19-4052).

As we are embarking on a new era, this blue hue mirrors our desire for a stable and dependable foundation as we navigate into the future. In the words of Leatrice Eiseman, the Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute: “We are living in a time that requires trust and faith. It is this kind of constancy and confidence that is expressed by PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue. a solid and dependable blue hue we can always rely on.”
