Local Michigan University in Ferrari HYPERCAR Design Challenge a “BIG DEAL”!

even schools are now in the running for the Ferrari World Design Contest.

This Italian car maker, in partnership with Autodesk as a sponsor and technical partner, launched the contest for international design schools. Announced in July 2011, the winner gets to be involved in planning future a Ferrari car, an internship lead by Flavio Manzoni and a cash prize.

National Instruments Hardware and Software in Ontario’s Energy SHSM

I was able to use hardware from the Fischertechnik Oeco Tech Renewable Energies Kit to construct the Solar Array, complete with DC Motor. The solar tracker is a part of this kit, and comes with graphical instructions for assembly and wiring. With this, I was able to add two Light Sensors and design a simple system for control using LabVIEW.
