The navX2-Micro is the greatest sensor for orientation in competitive robots. navX2-Micro is a second-generation 9-axis inertial/magnetic sensor and motion processor. Designed for plug-n-play installation onto robots such as those used in the WorldSkills Robotics, FIRST Technology Challenge (FTC) and the FIRST Robotics Challenge (FRC), navX2-Micro helps build better robots by adding sophisticated navigation capabilities.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To avoid having the navX2-Micro reset due to a RoboRIO brownout, connecting the navX-Micro to the RoboRIO via USB is highly recommended.
The Studica Robotics navX2-Micro is a great sensor for orientation in competitive robots. The navX2-Micro is a second-generation 9-axis inertial/magnetic sensor and motion processor.
This cable is used and is included with each NavX2-Micro Robotics Navigation Sensor and is used for Control / Expansion Hub.
Designed as a more affordable replacement for the RealSense D435, the Studica Robotics 3D Depth Camera provides an accurate high-definition depth-sensing camera for mobile robotics and consumer electronic projects.
The Studica VMX FRC-compatible Training Bot (FRC Trainer) is a smaller, sturdy, lightweight, and less expensive robot than your typical FRC robot. If you have a large FRC team, often only a handful of students get to learn how to create and program your team’s costly competition robot. The FRC Trainer solves this problem and is ideal for groups of two to three to participate in hands-on learning in a classroom environment. Schools can equip their labs with multiple FRC Trainers, benefiting from the great value and compact size. Students can even take it home with them!
This affordable solution is intended for:
The FRC-compatible Trainer is an intelligent and autonomous robot that uses the VMX Robotics Controller which can be programmed in C++ and Java. VMX’s multitude of modern digital communications interfaces and Linux-based operating system allow users to directly access most modern devices (e.g., Intel RealSense tracking and depth cameras and LIDAR).
