FTC Starterbot Resource Guide (DECODE™)
Get your season started with the Studica Starterbot for 2025-2026 (DECODE™)
This FTC Starter Bot made with the FTC Starter Kit by Studica Robotics is designed specifically to compete in 2025-2026 (DECODE™) season. This robot can:
- Receive Balls from a Human Player
- Hold 3 Balls
- Plow balls across the tiled surface to deliver them to the Human Player
- Index Balls from the robot's ball storage to the throwing mechanism
- Throw balls into the DECODE goal from up to 18" away
- Actuate the Gate Lever
- Complete a Basic Autonomous Routine
The robot's ball holding hopper, indexer and shooter provide a strong foundation, but there's still room for improvement. It's a great starting point for teams to build a FIRST Tech Challenge robot to play the basic parts of the game.
