The 6mm x 140mm Hex-Shaft is made of stainless steel and is used throughout our building system as drive components. The Hex-Shaft profile is used with pulleys, gears and hubs when tightening the set screws and creating a non-slip connection.
The Studica Robotics 1-1 Motor Hex-Shaft Kit can be used with the Studica Maverick or any FTC legal motor such as the Neverest Classic (6600 RPM) or the REV HD Hex motor (6000 RPM). The kit includes a faceplate which supports the Studica Robotics building platform. The shaft is press-fit onto the motor's shaft.
